Maria's hardcourt season this year will be three tournaments: Montreal, Olympics and US Open.  Montreal will begin on July 28th, Olympics on August 10th and US Open on August 25th.

The Rogers Cup in Montreal is a tier 1 event and Maria has played this event twice before and her best result was reaching the 3rd round in 2004.

Maria will then fly all the way to Beijing, China to make her debut in the Olympics.  The tennis event will begin on August 10th.  This is Maria's 1st appearance in the 4 yearly event.

Then the final Grand Slam of the year at the US Open will begin on August 25th in New York.  Maria has played here 5 times before and of course her best result was winning in 2006.

Oh my, oh my! That's a very busy schedule. First, a Tier I, then, the Olympics, and after that, a Grand Slam! That will surely be a very exhausting trip from one place to another. But i know you can make it, just take enough rest, a'ight Maria. I would like to see you win them all!!! Love ya

o.k. guys, I'm desperate. So here goes my top five things I would love to try with Maria.
5. Cleaning out the gutters(O.K., I would be the one on the ladder getting dirty, but you could be down there supporting me with that cherub face glistening in the sunlight)
4. Practising tennis with you 'til the day I beat you one-on-one.(not stealing your thunder 10 days before Wimbledon)
3. Studying electronics with you until the day we literally drive EVERYONE crazy with our knowledge.
2. Partaking some of that fashion sense from you(of course reversing the gender there)
1. Making Snow Angels with you in the middle of winter off the Lake Baakal shoreline.

Is it already common knowledge that not only did she win Wimbledon in '04 (which is her sports greatest achievement), but that she lost to the eventual champ each of the following times. You can always stand by your own merit, Maria. Just go out there with fun and focus.
