Sharapova ready for Hong Kong run out

Maria Sharapova is delighted by the high-quality field assembled at the Watsons Water Challenge as she looks ahead to the upcoming Australian Open.

'The tournament in Hong Kong is the only one I will play before playing in Melbourne so it's an important event for me,' said the 19-year-old Russian.

'You only have to see the quality of the line-up playing here to know that it will be a tough competition.

'I think it will be good.'
