Maria defeats Shinobu Asagoe in Miami

Maria is through to the quarters in Miami after she defeated Shinobu Asagoe of Japan in a just like yesterday 65 minutes lasting match 6-1 6-2.

In the quaters Maria will either play Alicia Molik of Australia or Justine Henin-Hardenne of Belgium. She has played both players before.
