Maria is out of Miami after she lost to #13 seed Serena Williams of the United States.  Maria lost 1-6 1-6 in the 4th round.

Williams broke Maria to lead 3-1 in the 1st set largely on part on a challenge call winner at deuce and then won the next point to get the break.  Williams broke Maria's serve again and served out the set to take it 6-1.

Maria lost her serve in the 3rd and 5th game of the 2nd set and Williams broke again to take the set and the match.

Maria's next tournament will be the Family Circle Cup in Charleston, SC beginning on 9th April.  This will be Maria's 1st event on clay this year.

OKAY STOP BASHING SERENA AND VENUS WILLIAMS!
